1.  Along with an animal sacrifice to God, a person who stole goods or somehow obtained them dishonestly from his neighbor was required to make restitution.  What was the requirement?

  1. He must repay the owner in full plus one fifth.
  2. He must repay the owner twice the amount that was due him.
  3. He must repay the owner and agree to work for him for seven weeks, resting only on the Sabbath.
  4. The owner was allowed to choose from the person's livestock and goods an amount equal to what had been stolen from him plus ten percent.
  5. The thief had to say, “I'm sorry,” and be given a thirty minute “time-out.”

2.  Regulations for the burnt offering included:

  1. The burnt offering was to remain on the altar hearth until morning.
  2. The priest must put on linen clothes before removing the ashes from the altar.
  3. An additional change of clothes was required before carring the ashes away.
  4. The fire was to be kept burning continuously and was not allowed to go out.
  5. All of the above were requirements.
