“THE EYES OF THE LORD”

Psalm 34:15 tells us that, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are open to their cry.” What a comforting thought.  Our Lord is watching us and listening to us!  We all need His guidance and His help.  It is possible that we forget that He is watching us and that He does care about us.

It is easy to forget Him in time of stress or even in times of joy.  In stress sometimes we want to blame Him while in times of joy we fail to realize that He has blessed us is so many ways.  However, we must never forget that He is watching over us and listening to us because He has a bigger plan for us that we do for ourselves.

His plan is for us to spend eternity with Him at His dwelling place in heaven.  John 14:1-6 are comforting words to us about where Jesus was going and what He would be doing and that He would come again.  Our plan sometimes is very short sighted --- we see today and many times get caught up in what pleases us for this moment forgetting about the bigger plan.

John 12:48 explains to us that we will be judged by the words of Jesus.  God Almighty knows if we are obedient to the words of His Son or not.  His Son will be turning over His Kingdom to God the Father on the Day of Judgment.  There will be no strangers to God enter into heaven as He is watching and listening to the righteous on a daily basis.
