“THE KING OF KINGS”

“And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:  KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”  (Revelation 19:16)

Starting tomorrow we will be conducting our 2^nd annual Vacation Bible School.  Last year we went “Sailing With Jesus” and this year we will be studying “The King of Kings.”  The breakdown of each days study is as follows:

Monday        King David - Most Courageous King
Tuesday        King Solomon - Wisest King
Wednesday   King Hezekiah - Most Loyal King
Thursday       King Nebuchadnezzar - Mightiest King
Friday           Jesus Christ - THE KING OF KINGS

We are blessed with teachers who have prepared the material for these classes.  This may be the only time that we have an opportunity to teach some of these young people who will come through our doors for this VBS.  If it is like last year we will have several from the community that their parents will bring and leave them with us.

The work that goes into the organization, preparation and actually doing a VBS is some of the most time and energy consuming work there is.  As a congregation we need to be so thankful that we are able to do this and take full advantage of this opportunity.  The success of this VBS rests upon each and every member here at Greenwood.
