FINISH THE JOB

Finish the job of repenting.  Repentance is not just acknowledging that you are wrong.  It involves sorrow for sin, but it is more than that.  Repentance is a change of heart and a corresponding change of life.  Don't stop part way through the process.  “unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” (Lk. 13:3)

HOW DID WE GET HERE?

Acts 8:4 tells us that there were early day Christians scattered everywhere preaching the word.  Today, we see congregations that have been in existence for some time and many of their members do not know how or why the congregation was started.  We may be shocked of how the congregation came into existence.  There seems to be a movement today to "bigger congregations" and yet many areas that need a congregation go "untaught" because of the comfort zone of being in a "big group".  Teaching the word of God is not about man's tradition of which congregation he attends or how big the congregation is he attends.  It is about getting the word of God out to all the nations (Matthew 28:19-20) starting with the next community that needs a congregation of His people!
